In this portion of the article, we have picked the top 7 tips for you to let Android File Transfer work perfectly.
I have a regular Galaxy S8. I've installed Android File transfer on my mac and I continuously get the error 'Could not connect to device. Try reconnecting or restarting your device.' Here are the things I have already tried or done:
Restarted both the mac and the phone
Reinstalled the AFT app on the mac
Made sure my android OS and mac OS is up to date
Enabled Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) in USB settings on my phone
Enabled USB Debugging in developer options
Tried alternative Android Transfer Applications (do not recognize the device)
It works fine on my PC, but I did notice that Dropbox won't automatically sync photos anymore like it would on my iPhone.
Thanks for the help.
